Destination JOY:

Feel, flow and transform!

The emotional journey of the soul can sometimes feel like a violent storm resembling a shipwreck leaving us stranded at sea where the waves of the inner turmoil make us feel as if we are drowning. Losing control can feel like the end of everything. But in truth there is no end in the Universe only transformation. Energy cannot be destroyed, a core principle in physics, it can only transform. The same principle applies to our emotional states. Obstructing the flow of energy will only bring frustration for the nature of energy is to move.

So, no matter how intense your emotional storm may feel, trust it. Lean into it. Explore it. Do not fear it – feel it and use its power. These storms are not your enemy; they are your potential in motion. Use them to transform into your higher self.

Life is about bringing into existence our essences through our physical bodies, which function by harnessing energy.

While nutrition and breathwork are essential energy sources, our most potent source is joy and pleasure. Real pleasure and deep joy can trigger the release of dopamine – the “feel good” hormone that fills us with vitality. When this happens naturally it empowers us to feel more alive, present and capable. It is also what grounds our souls to be fully present in our bodies. However, when dopamine surges are triggered artificially through drugs or unhealthy habits, they create temporary highs that often mask a deeper disconnection. This suggests that we are unable to find real joy in our lives and incorrectly teach our brains to chase false pleasures.

When your life goals are rooted in joy, you begin to align with your purpose. Joy and pleasure fuel your being. Its not indulgence, its life force.

I therefore invite you to not fear your inner storms, they may be guiding you to something extraordinary. Allow them to empower you by not resisting them. It is when you resist them that the feeling of drowning overwhelms you. Surrender to your inner storm – let it become your inner sanctuary where you give yourself the freedom to feel. Allow yourself to feel discomfort. Allow yourself to feel discontent. Allow yourself to feel sadness and anger and all those uncomfortable emotions that stir up the fear of losing control.

Choose to dive into these emotions with the faith that only by not resisting them you will allow the needed transformation into your highest potential to happen. For they are nothing but the manifestation of what needs to be transformed for you to be more open to joy and pleasure.

This absolutely does not mean the only way to pleasure is through pain – it means that if there is pain in your life, you can use it as a doorway into pleasure.

For pain and pleasure represent the concept of duality and are nothing more than the two faces of the same coin. And if you fear pleasure believing that you’ll end up in pain, and thus you are choosing to stay in a “known” pain rather than risk an “unknown” pain then heed this message: it is not pain that should be feared, but the being stuck within it, for it is in that very stagnation that pain transforms into suffering.

Let the energy flow. Surrender to the inner journey of your soul. Allow yourself to feel everything inside you and around you. Open up to joy and pleasure and allow it fuel you with life force. Do not fear pain for in the same moment that you may feel it, you may also transform it.
